Nowhere Book Fair

Just enter the code NWBF20 at checkout to activate the discount!

In normal times, we’d be packing up the back of our station wagon with boxes of magazines in preparation for the season’s book festivals, and steeling ourselves for the inevitable onslaught of puns on the magazine’s name from visitors to our booth (“So what *is* The Point?”). Of course, this year, that hallowed annual tradition has been disrupted.

But just because we aren’t able to see you in person doesn’t mean we can’t try to recreate the experience (with fresh deals, giveaways and virtual chats with the editors).

Welcome to the Nowhere Book Fair.

Ask us anything!

On Sunday, August 16th from noon to 4 p.m. EST, join us on Zoom for a conversation with the editors. We’ll be fielding questions about our latest issue, submissions process, upcoming symposiums, which of our back issues to buy—stop by and ask us whatever you’d like.

Thanks for Zooming with us! For those who couldn’t make it—we hope to do something like this again soon.

TOTE BAG GIVEAWAY

Enter to win our classic “Bad at Twitter” tote. Since this book fair is extremely online, and we’re not, all you have to do for a chance to receive one of five free totes is to retweet this tweet about the giveaway.

Want to enter twice? Share the link to the Nowhere Book Fair on one of your social channels and send a screenshot to editors@thepointmag.com.

EXTRA-CHEAP SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

Are you an undergrad? During the book fair weekend only, you can subscribe for just $10.

(For context on how good a deal this is, our full subscription price is $36, and our student subscriptions are usually $18. That means we’re offering you a year in print for 72% off.)

Use the code NWBF20 at checkout to activate the limited-time student discount. Deal ends Sunday, August 16th at midnight.

Thanks for visiting!
